Elvis Days
Second Edition
"Elvis Days is a little bit history and a whole lotta rock and roll." — Trey Miller, "Globetrotting with Trey"
About the Book
Elvis didn’t knock. He arrived—like a bolt of lightning crackling through a misty Texas sky. One minute, life was predictable: screen doors slamming, crickets chirping, dreams kept modest and close to home. The next, Elvis Presley swings open the back door, shaking loose the dust, the rules, and the lives of an ordinary family who never expected to brush up against legend. His presence was larger than music—it was charisma, chaos, tenderness, temptation and timing all wrapped up in one magnetic person.
This is the moment where myth meets memory. Where a small-town family finds their world tilted off its axis by the King of rock and roll himself. Nothing, not love, not loyalty, not the shape of the future will ever be the same again.
Come on in the house, pull up a chair, dinner’s on the table.
About Janice Fadal

More than anything, her two grown daughters are her proudest achievements.

"Janice Fadal has provided a truly unique slice of Elvis history in this very personal book. From her childhood memories of watching her mother prepare to entertain and host the most famous entertainer on the planet to grown-up reflections of understanding her own involvement in the Elvis world in a more personal way, this book captures so many layers of one family’s story. Elvis Presley was a one-of-a-kind artist. The perspective of the Fadal Family offers a one-of-a-kind look at the place and the people who were a Texas-sized part of Elvis Presley’s life during a magical era in music history."— Sally Hoedel Elvis Author, “Destined to Die Young”
